At the heart of Solutions to Thrive is Shirell Holmes, LCSW, a dedicated therapist with a profound commitment to supporting individuals through their healing journey. Shirell's academic journey culminated at Rutgers University, where she was awarded a Master's degree in Social Work along with a Certificate for Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC). This specialized education has equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to counsel trauma survivors effectively.


With over four years of experience in counseling individuals who have endured domestic and sexual violence or human trafficking, Shirell's practice is built on a foundation of empathy, understanding, and respect. Her approach is deeply rooted in the belief that everyone possesses an inherent strength, often untapped due to the crises they face. Through her guidance, clients learn to recognize and harness this inner power, embarking on a path toward healing and self-discovery.
